As a S.T.E.A.M. school, we focus on hands-on and minds-on learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Every day, our students are encouraged to blaze a trail to the future using imagination, innovation, and inspiration.
What does a Trailblazer experience while on our campus? Get a glimpse into life at Quartz Hill!
- The Innovation Lab: Our students get to dive into hands-on technology inside our Innovation Lab. From designing and printing inspirational words using our 3D printers, to writing and recording video weather reports in front of a green screen, our classrooms bring project-based learning to life.
- Academic Programs: We want every student to have the opportunity to be the best version of themselves. That is why we offer a wide variety of learning environments, including Kindergarten Prep, Advantage Preschool, Gifted, and Accelerated classrooms to meet the individual needs of our learners.
- Clubs and Campus Activities: Students can connect with friends and explore new interests through a variety of clubs and activities. Trailblazers can participate in clubs like Student Council, Color Guard, Oceanography Club, Running Club, or the Sunshine Service Club.
- School Traditions: Bringing our families together is a big part of what makes our school community feel so connected. Students look forward to annual traditions like Innovation Night, Bingo Night, the Book Parade, the Shark Tank Competition, and the sixth-grade Science Camp.
- Connected K-12 Community: Just a few feet down the road from our campus is Campo Verde High School, where students regularly visit and engage with our Trailblazers. This gives our current students a chance to see themselves as future CVHS Coyotes and to learn from former Trailblazers.
